The Rockville

7081 Movement

The Rockville is powered by the unique Maryland Watch Works 7081 movement. Based on the ETA 2824 architecture, the MWW7081 is a rock-solid movement that is customized with a grey metal finish, blued screws, and vibrate gear train.  See more about the movement on the 7081 Movement Page.

Sandwich Dial

We have a soft-spot for sandwich dials because we love the visual depth they bring to the dial, and the Rockville sandwich dial does not disappoint.  Every hole on the top layer of the dial is outlined in white to help define the edge, a design element that helps accentuate the sandwich dial appearance.

40MM Case with Drilled Lugs

The case is 40MM wide (excluding the crown) with a 20MM lug width.  To help make bracelet & strap changes easy, we incorporated drilled lugs into the Rockville.  The 'milsub' style case includes a mirror polish on the side profiles with brushed finishing on tops of the lugs.  Topping off the case is a 120 click uni-directional bezel.  The thickness with crystal is only 13MM, allowing the Rockville to easily tuck under the cuff of most shirts.

Bracelet

We know how important it is for a watch to feel comfortable, so that's why the bracelet on the Rockville tapers from 20MM at the lugs down to 18MM at the extension clasp.  As typical with most watch bracelets, the Rockville bracelet can be resized by removing links via pushing out pins.

Extension Clasp

Here's the deal, this ratchet extension clasp is REALLY GOOD.  I know everyone says theirs is the best, but trust me here, this one is slick.  There are six positions for adjustability in the extension clasp, so on-the-go adjustments are a piece of cake.  The clasp also includes three micro-adjuster holes so you can dial-in that perfect fit.

Screw-Down Crown

To help ensure our 300 meter depth rating, the Rockville features a screw-down crown, because every self-respecting dive watch needs a screw-down crown.

Exhibition caseback

Do you need an exhibition caseback?  No!

Do you want an exhibition caseback?  Yes!

When you have the MWW 7081 in this watch you want to be able to see it, plain and simple.  I know 'true dive watches' don't need exhibition cases, but c'mon, it's cool and you know it.
